The Falcons have looked surprisingly good so far this season and the NFL football betting odds are starting to reflect this fact.
NFL betting on Kansas City and Atlanta has not been popular in recent seasons as the Chiefs and Falcons have struggled. It looks like Atlanta is headed in the right direction though with Ryan at quarterback and Michael Turner at running back according to NFL betting experts. Turner had 220 yards in the Falcons opening NFL betting pointspread cover against Detroit. The Falcons could be an NFL football betting pointspread force this season and that would be a major change. Atlanta has struggled ever since the Michael Vick saga but Ryan and Turner have breathed new life into the franchise and encouraged NFL betting experts.
Kansas City, unlike Atlanta, has not turned the corner yet in NFL betting. They did get an NFL betting pointspread cover in Week 1 against the Patriots but that may have been more because of Tom Brady’s injury than their play. What could help the Chiefs in NFL betting this season is the injury to starting quarterback Brodie Croyle. While that might sound strange in terms of NFL football betting to have a starting quarterback help a team’s cause, that might be the case in Kansas City. The backup quarterback for Kansas City is Damon Huard and he may actually be the better choice for the Chiefs according to experts that look at NFL betting. With Huard at quarterback the Chiefs may actually be more of an NFL football betting pointspread threat. Kansas City has done little to improve in recent seasons and their on the field results are starting to reflect that fact, in addition to their NFL betting results. They did get Glenn Dorsey in the NFL draft but a lot more needs to be done if the Chiefs are to rise in the NFL betting standings.
The Falcons will probably be a popular choice in NFL betting this week as they host the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 3 action.
