NFL Bet – Pittsburgh at Kansas City

NFL bet odds heavily favor the Pittsburgh Steelers on the road at the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday. The Steelers are coming off a tough loss last week against Cincinnati while the Chiefs got a win on the road at Oakland. Those that bet on football will probably look to the favored Steelers in this game.

NFL bet trends indicate that the Steelers have won 6 of the last 10 meetings against Kansas City. Pittsburgh is 7-2-1 against the bet on football odds in those games.  The teams last met in 2006 and the Steelers routed the Chiefs in NFL bet results in Pittsburgh by a score of 45-7.  The last time they met in Kansas City was in 2003 as the Chiefs won 41-20 for those that bet on football. The last four NFL bet meetings between the two teams have all gone over the bet on football total.

Pittsburgh is now in second place in the AFC North after losing for the second time this NFL bet season to the Cincinnati Bengals. The Pittsburgh offense was weak as Rashard Mendenhall had only 13 carries for 36 yards and Ben Roethlisberger completed 20 passes for 174 yards, with one interception. The Steelers also got bad NFL bet news as safety Troy Polamalu left the game in the first half with a knee injury.

Kansas City is coming off a nice NFL bet win last week at Oakland. Running back Jamaal Charles had a huge game for the Chiefs in the NFL bet victory. He had a 44-yard TD run to lead the Chiefs last NFL bet week. “It was supposed to have been a hurry-up play,” Charles said, “It was a toss outside and I just saw everybody coming inside, and they didn’t have anybody on the inside. I saw a hole and I just ran. Chris (Chambers) made a good block and I just got of Chris’ block and ran straight for the pylon.” Getting rid of Larry Johnson was a great move and Charles has taken advantage of the playing time. “I kind of like Jamaal Charles,” Chiefs head coach Todd Haley said. “His head is in the right place, he obviously has ability and he went out there and made probably the biggest play of the game for us. But so did some other guys. I know that these guys were excited about this opportunity.

The Steelers are 6-3 straight up but a very poor 3-6 against the NFL bet odds. The Chiefs are 2-7 straight up but a respectable 4-5 against the NFL bet pointspread.
