New Orleans Saints at Carolina NFL Bet

NFL bet odds are a lot lower on the New Orleans Saints than they would have been a couple of weeks ago when the Saints were unbeaten. After two straight losses, the Saints now look very vulnerable heading into this bet on football game against Carolina on Sunday.

NFL bet lines still favor the Saints on Sunday but not by a lot. The Saints have not played well the past couple of weeks while Carolina has looked great. The Saints actually lost at home last week in NFL bet action to the lowly Buccaneers. New Orleans could have clinched home field advantage throughout the playoffs had they won that game. Now they might need to win this week in bet on football action against Carolina depending upon what Minnesota does.

New Orleans led last week by 17 points but they didn’t score a single point in the second half against the Bucs. It is absolutely shocking that the Saints lost last week in NFL bet results. As bad as the Saints were in the second half they still could have won the game but kicker Garrett Hartley badly missed a 37-yard field goal attempt with just seconds remaining. Drew Brees was held to 258 yards passing and one touchdown in the NFL bet loss. The Saints rushed for 124 yards as NFL bet stats showed, but they had only 28 yards after leading rusher Pierre Thomas left the game due to injury.

Those that bet on football are just as amazed at what Carolina has done in recent weeks. The Panthers shocked the Minnesota Vikings two weeks ago in bet on football action and then last week they humiliated the New York Giants 41-9 when the Giants needed a win to make the playoffs. Matt Moore has been excellent in NFL bet action and Jonathan Stewart is running over teams. Moore threw three touchdown passes and Stewart rushed for a franchise-best 206 yards. Carolina has won three of their last four in NFL bet results as they try and save the job of head coach John Fox. “Even though we’ve had some ups and downs, the character of this team is showing as the season comes to an end,” said Stewart.

Carolina has won six of the last ten games against the Saints and they are 6-4 against the NFL bet odds. The Saints won earlier this season 30-20 over Carolina in New Orleans but did not cover the 12-point NFL bet line. Four of the last five in this series have gone under the NFL bet total.
