Jacksonville Jaguars at Indianapolis Bet on NFL

Bet on NFL fans will see the Indianapolis Colts hosting the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday.

The teams split their two meetings in football betting last year with each team winning on the road.

Bet on NFL lines have the Colts as a 7.5 point favorite with a total of 44.5.  The Colts come into this season looking at lot like they did a year ago with Peyton Manning leading the way but if you look closer you will see some concerns.  Long-time head coach Tony Dungy is gone and Jim Caldwell has taken over.  The Colts still have a powerful offense with Manning and wide receiver Reggie Wayne but their defense is suspect, especially with Bob Sanders out of the lineup.

Jacksonville was simply a bad football team for those that bet on NFL action last year. The team came apart last season and things must turn around this year or head coach Jack Del Rio could be out of a job.  Jacksonville wins games with Maurice Jones-Drew running the ball and David Garrard making good decisions.  Jacksonville also was known as a team that could play defense but last year they ranked 22nd in the league as bet on NFL statistics had it.

Normally in the first week of the bet on NFL season the Jaguars are a good wager. They are 8-2 in football betting in their last 10 games in Week 1. The Colts usually start strong as well as they are 4-1-1 in bet on NFL action in their last 6 games in Week 1. The problem for the Colts as bet on NFL stats show is that they are 5-11 ATS in their last 16 vs. the AFC South and they are 3-7 ATS in their last 10 home games. This series has gone to Jacksonville of late in bet on NFL action.  The Jaguars are 4-1 against the football betting number in their last 5 meetings in Indianapolis. The road team is 4-0 against the bet on NFL lines in the last 4 meetings.

The bet on NFL total really should be an under if you consider the trends.  The Under is 4-0 in the Jaguars last 4 games as a road underdog. The Under is 5-1-1 in the Jaguars last 7 vs. the AFC. The Under is 5-1 in the Colts last 6 vs. the AFC. The Under is 9-4 in the Colts last 13 bet on NFL games in September.  The only thing that points to an Over is that the Over is 4-1 in the last 5 football betting meetings between the two teams.
