Football Betting – Arizona’s Boldin Reports to Camp

Football betting stats tells us that Arizona wide receiver Anquan Boldin reported to training camp on Wednesday. The superstar receiver is not happy but at least he is in camp.  He is definitely a player that will impact football odds this season for the Cardinals. Football betting shows that Boldin had not done much of anything in the off-season except complain.  He wants a new contract and was talking about not reporting to training camp as football betting news indicated. Football betting info shows that first round pick Beanie Wells did not show up to training camp as he is still unsigned.  “There hasn’t been a whole lot of first rounders that have signed,” coach Ken Whisenhunt said. “We’re coming in a couple of days earlier than most guys so maybe it will speed up over the next day or two.”

Boldin did not make any statement on Wednesday as football betting tells us but his coach and his quarterback did have some things to say.  Boldin was a little late on Wednesday as info showed, as he had to pick up Early Doucet and Ali Highsmith who had car trouble.  “I think it means everything to our team, that he’s such a leader,” Warner said. “So much of what this team does and how this team goes stems from who he is and what he brings to the table, and his leadership and his toughness and all those things.”  The Cardinals need Boldin if they are to make an impact in this season. “It’s obviously huge for us to know that just like always he’s going to be a pro,” Warner said. “Even though he might not be happy with certain situations outside of playing the game, we know when he steps on that football team and he steps in that locker room we’re going to get Q and we’re going to get everything that entails.”

Football betting odds don’t favor the Cardinals to make it back to the Super Bowl this season.  Arizona is considered somewhat of a football betting longshot in football odds at the sportsbook to win the NFC.  They are favorites in the NFC West at the online sportsbook but most experts don’t expect another magical playoff run in 2009. Arizona will not go under the radar in football odds in 2009. With Warner, Fitzgerald and Boldin, they will attract a lot of football betting attention this season.
