Buffalo Bills at Atlanta NFL Betting

NFL betting favors the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday as they host the Buffalo Bills in a matchup of two teams that will not be making the postseason. The Falcons proved last week they are still a team that can make an impact in football betting though as they shocked the New York Jets while the Bills are just playing out the string. NFL betting saw the Bills lost to New England last week as their offense was pretty pathetic. It is the 10th straight year the Bills will miss the football betting playoffs. “Very sick of losing to the Patriots,” safety Donte Whitner said, “They have a little swagger about themselves because they know they’ve beaten us so many times.” Buffalo gave the Patriots a lot of help last football betting week as they had 11 penalties for 124 yards. “It’s tough to beat a good football team like New England,” said interim head coach Perry Fewell, “But when you kill yourselves with those kind of mistakes, then you lessen the chance of your probability to win.”

The Falcons found a way to win last week in NFL betting as Tony Gonzalez caught a TD pass from Matt Ryan with under two minutes left as Atlanta came away with a 10-7 victory. “As a man taking pride in what you do for a living and loving what you do,” Gonzalez said, “you owe it to yourself and the fans and the organization to go out there and play your butt off. That’s what we did.” The Falcons didn’t do much but they did enough to beat the Jets in NFL betting. “We fought and had to scratch to do it, but we got the job done,” Atlanta coach Mike Smith said. In this NFL betting series between Buffalo and Atlanta, the Falcons have won five of the seven all-time meetings. The last time they played was in 2005 as the Falcons won 24-16 in Buffalo. They last played in Atlanta in 2001 as the Falcons won 33-30. That type of score seems extremely unlikely in this NFL betting contest considering neither team is putting points on the board lately. Atlanta is the NFL betting favorite in this matchup against the Bills but anything is possible with two teams out of the playoff picture. The Falcons will probably get most of the football betting attention since they are at home.
