Baltimore Ravens at New England NFL Betting

NFL bet attention on Sunday will be focused on the game between the unbeaten Baltimore Ravens and the 2-1 New England Patriots. It is a key early-season showdown between two of the top teams in the league. Bet on football odds have the Patriots as a slight favorite in this game which should be one of the featured games in Week 4. NFL bet odds have New England as a 2-point favorite with a total of 44.5. Two years ago it was the Ravens playing the unbeaten Patriots on Monday Night Football and nearly ruining New England’s perfect season. It didn’t happen though as the Patriots won in the final minutes.

The Patriots bounced back nicely last week from their loss in a bet on football against the Jets as they handled the Atlanta Falcons at home. Quarterback Tom Brady is not full recovered from his knee surgery though and the New England offense is nowhere near as good as two years ago. Part of the problem is Brady being rusty and off in his timing and part of the problem is that wide receiver Wes Welker has been hurt. NFL bet info has seen Welker missing the last two weeks with a knee injury. For New England to get by a talented Ravens team they will need Welker to play in this NFL bet matchup.

The NFL bet trends are interesting to consider in this game. The Baltimore Ravens are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 bet on football road games. Baltimore has simply been excellent everywhere of late in NFL bet action as they are 18-5 ATS in their last 23 games overall. Making an NFL bet on the Ravens has simply been a good idea of late.

New England has some positive NFL bet numbers as well. The Patriots are 19-7-1 ATS in their last 27 games in October. The problem for those making an NFL bet on New England is that the Patriots are 4-11 ATS in their last 15 games as a home favorite.

Those that bet on football totals will want to keep in mind that the Over is 6-1-1 in the Ravens last 8 games as a road underdog. The NFL bet Under is 5-2 in the Ravens last 7 games in October. The Over is 4-1 in the Patriots last 5 home games and 7-3 in the Patriots last 10 NFL bet games overall.
