Baltimore Ravens at Cincinnati NFL Betting

NFL betting has an excellent game set for Sunday in the AFC North as the Cincinnati Bengals host the Baltimore Ravens. The Bengals are 5-2 and coming off a bye last week while the Ravens got a huge football betting win last week as they handed the Denver Broncos their first loss of the season. NFL betting has the Bengals playing two huge games back to back. They face Baltimore this week and Pittsburgh next week.  The Bengals are tied with the Steelers are the top of the AFC North with the Ravens just a game back.  Cincinnati is playing great football this season and they are a real NFL betting threat each week.

The Bengals routed the Bears 45-10 two weeks ago in football betting.  “There are a lot of very tough challenges ahead, but this team has a great opportunity to be really good,” head coach Marvin Lewis said, “I think they’re a more grounded team than we’ve had before. There’s a stronger foundation of guys.” The Bengals are getting a Pro Bowl year out of running back Cedric Benson who had 189 yards against the Bears.  Quarterback Carson Palmer is playing very well this season and receiver Chad Ochocinco has been solid. The Cincinnati defense is playing as well as they had in years.  The Bengals are now averaging only 88 rushing yards allowed per game.

NFL betting had the Bengals playing three straight games at home for the first time since 1998. This is the 13th time in franchise history with three straight games at home. In the previous 11 instances of three straight home games, the Bengals have won all three on five occasions. They have gone 2-1 in two of the three game sets, they went 1-2 three times and have lost all three only once which can’t happen this time since they already beat the Bears in the first game in football betting.

The Bengals have had a lot of recent NFL betting success against the Ravens. Cincinnati has won 7 of the last 10 straight up and they are 7-3 against the football betting pointspread. Earlier this season in Baltimore the Bengals won 17-14 as nine-point underdogs in NFL betting.  The last time the teams met in Cincinnati was last year and the Ravens won 34-3 as 7-point road NFL betting favorites. Three of the last four meetings between the two teams have gone under the football betting total.
