USC vs. Ohio State College Football Betting

College football betting is highlighted on Saturday by the big battle in Columbus as #8 Ohio State hosts #3 USC. It will be an interesting battle of quarterbacks with freshman Matt Barkley leading the Trojans while Terrelle Pryor leads the Buckeyes.  USC is a 7-point college football betting online favorite with a total of 44.5 at the sportsbook. College football betting on USC is always popular at the sports book and that is the case again on Saturday, even though the Trojans have a freshman quarterback. “I don’t get really nervous, and at the same time I’m not going to get super-pumped up,” Barkley said. “I probably don’t know what I’m in for, but I’m not going to worry about that. I’ve got my offense, and we could move in Alaska, playing in the snow.”  Last week Barkley played well in a 56-3 college football betting rout of San Jose State.  College football betting stats had him 15-for-19 for 233 yards.

The Buckeyes are led by Pryor who doesn’t have nearly as many offensive weapons to work with.   He will have to play very well for the Buckeyes to pull off the college football betting upset. “If he says it, he says it,” Buckeyes defensive lineman Doug Worthington said. “That’s how he’s feeling. I can’t tell you if he’s going to be scared or whatnot, but if he feels that way, much power to him. When we play out there, we’re going to feed off the crowd. If it doesn’t hurt him, it’s going to definitely help us, so whatever way it goes, it’ll be 100,000 watching this game.”

This is USC’s first college football betting visit to Ohio State since 1990.  The winner of this college football betting game will stay in the national title chase while the loser could be out.
