College Football Odds – Arkansas Laying Major Points to Louisiana-Monroe

Arkansas will look to dominate Louisiana-Monroe again in college football odds as they host the Warhawks on Saturday.

Arkansas has never lost to Monroe and they have averaged 40.8 points per game in the eight meetings.  It is a good bet they will get more than 40 on Saturday considering they are a 34 point favorite in college football betting odds.

You can watch Arkansas roll over Louisiana-Monroe on the FSN network on Saturday.  Arkansas has a potent offense that should score at will.  The Razorbacks are 34 point favorites at the Sbg global sportsbook with the total at 58.5. Last week the Razorbacks trailed 3-0 and then scored six straight times as they went on to rout Tennessee Tech 44-3.

Heisman Candidate Ryan Mallett – Last week Arkansas quarterback Ryan Mallett threw for 301 yards and three touchdowns. Wide receiver Joe Adams caught six passes for 138 yards and two touchdowns.

Improved Arkansas Defense – If the Razorbacks are to challenge Alabama in the SEC then their defense has to be better than last year’s. In the opener it was. They kept Tennessee Tech out of the end zone.  Arkansas should get a better test this week as they will have to stop Louisiana-Monroe's Frank Goodin who rushed for 1,126 yards and 13 touchdowns last season.

ULM is 0-17 – The Warhawks are 0-17 against ranked teams since 1994. They are not likely to win against an Arkansas team that is ranked in the Top 20.  Arkansas has won seven in a row against non-conference opponents. If you are betting on Arkansas there are a couple of concerns. The Razorbacks are 2-5 ATS in their last 7 neutral site games and the Razorbacks are 3-14 ATS in their last 17 games in September.  You can’t take Louisiana-Monroe though. They are 16-35 ATS in their last 51 non-conference games.

Best Bet is the Over – The way to bet in this game in college football odds is with the over. The last eight Arkansas games against teams from the Sun Belt have gone over the total. The last four Louisiana-Monroe games against non-conference teams have gone over.  10 of their last 12 against SEC teams have gone over the total.  And to top things off, the last four meetings between these two teams have gone over the total. You have to like the game Over.
