Clemson at Miami College Football Betting

College football betting on Saturday includes an ABC regionally televised game as Miami of Florida hosts Clemson. The Hurricanes are 5-point NCAA football betting favorites at the sports book in this game.

College football betting has seen Clemson and Miami meeting seven times in history with the Hurricanes holding the 5-2 edge in the series that goes back to 1945.  The last Clemson win against Miami came in 2004. The last two meetings between the teams have been decided in overtime. In each of those games the road team was the NCAA football betting winner.  Clemson won in 2004 while Miami won the following year.

Miami will be the third Top 15 opponent for the Tigers. Miami is ranked in the Top 10 in both polls this week. They are eighth in the AP and ninth in the USA Today. After this college football betting game, Miami, Clemson and Washington will be the only three teams to have played three top 15 teams already this season. Clemson lost by three points (30-27) to Georgia Tech on September 10 while they lost to TCU 14-10. The combined record of Clemson’s first seven opponents is 30-15 for a .667 winning percentage.

College football betting has seen Clemson excel as an underdog of late at the sports book. The Tigers are 7-1 in college football betting in their last 8 games as a road underdog. The Tigers are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 conference games. The Tigers are 7-3 in NCAA football betting ATS in their last 10 games overall.

Miami is also playing well of late as they are 6-1 in college football betting in their last 7 games overall. They are 4-1 vs. college football betting odds at the sportsbook in their last 5 home games. The Hurricanes are 9-19-1 ATS in their last 29 conference games. They are a poor favorite though in NCAA football betting. They are just 8-20-1 in college football betting in their last 29 games as a favorite.

As you bet the college football betting total you might want to remember that the last four Clemson games have gone under. Five of their last six conference games have gone under.  Four of the last five Miami games have gone under the college football betting total.  20 of the last 27 home games when Miami was favored in college football betting have gone under.
