Arizona State at Georgia College Football Betting

College football betting favors #21 Georgia as they host Arizona State on Saturday in an ESPN U televised contest. It could be a high scoring game for those that bet on college football since both offenses are clicking. College football betting has Georgia as a 12 point favorite in this game with a total of 52.5 at the sportsbook.  The Bulldogs lost their opening game against Oklahoma State to start the college football betting season but have bounced back nicely winning against South Carolina and Arkansas.

They have scored 93 points in the last two games.  Quarterback Joe Cox threw for 375 yards and five touchdowns in last week’s college football betting win. “It’s pretty cool,” said Cox, “It’s definitely not something I expected to happen. We didn’t know it was going to be a shootout like that, but if a team wants to make it a shootout, we’ve got to find a way to answer.”

The Bulldogs could get tested on Saturday by an unbeaten Sun Devils team that has had two easy wins to start the college football betting season against Idaho State and Louisiana-Monroe.  The question for Arizona State is how good are they really?  “We’re (asking) right now, ‘Where are we at as a football team?'” head coach Dennis Erickson said. “That’s my biggest concern. It will be interesting to find out exactly where we’re at when we go down there and play. Every part of our football team, we’re going to find out more about us when we play this week.”

Arizona State has been terrible in big games this decade for those that bet on college football at the sports book. The Sun Devils are 3-27 against Top 25 opponents, losing by almost 17 points per game in college football betting.  Last year the Sun Devils lost in college football betting at home to Georgia by a score of 27-10.

Turnovers could be a key in this bet on college football matchup. Georgia has turned it over nine times this season while forcing only two.  ASU is first in the country in turnover margin, having forced eight while committing none.

The Sun Devils are 5-11 against the bet on college football pointspread in their last 16 games overall and 2-5 in college football betting in their last 7 road games. The Sun Devils are 1-4 vs. the sportsbook number in their last 5 non-conference college football betting games.

The Bulldogs are 5-2 in college football betting in their last 7 non-conference games. The Bulldogs have struggled at home in college football betting as they are 1-6 ATS in their last 7 home games.
