The top team in the country and the favorite in March Madness betting is Kansas. The Jayhawks are the best team in the country but they are not unbeatable. Kentucky is very good as well but they are young and anything can happen with young teams. Syracuse is also very talented and they could win it all in March Madness. The hottest team in the country is Butler who has won 20 straight games.
The past couple of seasons in March Madness has been all about the top seeds. That might not be the case this season in March Madness odds. There are a lot of good teams that are capable of slaying one of the giants. In the past couple of seasons teams like North Carolina and Connecticut had a lot of experience. This year there are some really young teams that will be making a mark. "Last year, you had Carolina, you had Connecticut. Our team had four seniors last year.” Villanova head coach Jay Wright said, “A lot of those teams lost a lot of players. When you get to tournament time and you've got young people, anything can happen. The teams that will probably be the most successful are the teams that have the experienced players."
Kansas has a lot of experience so look for them to be one of the top seeds that makes it. Other teams could come from some of the mid-major conferences. Even a team like Northern Iowa could do some real damage in the NCAA Tournament. Maryland has two senior guards who can make an impact. The Big East is loaded and any number of their teams could go far in next week’s tournament. Even a team like Oklahoma State or Baylor could make a run. It all makes for exciting March Madness action.
