NCAA Basketball Gambling: Arizona Has Bumpy Road Ahead at SBG Global

Lute Olson, one of the most successful and respected coaches in college basketball betting, resigned as coach of the Arizona Wildcats. NCAA basketball wagering fans bid farewell to one of the best earlier this month. As devastating as that may have been to many long time NCAA basketball wagering fans, it leaves the Wildcats’ upcoming college basketball betting in serious doubt.

NCAA basketball wagering handicappers were not all that high on this team to begin with and with the absence of a master motivator and seasoned coach like Olson, his retirement does not help the team’s chances in the 2008-09 NCAA basketball gambling odds. The reasons for Olson’s unexpected resignation became obvious when his physician announced that he is no longer fit mentally to lead a top-tier college basketball wagering team after suffering a stroke. And although it’s a very sad development, it creates a very pressing problem for Arizona in the upcoming NCAA basketball wagering season.

Last season the Wildcats came on strong at the end of the season and earned a somewhat questionable bid to the NCAA basketball gambling tournament. This year there a lot of questions surrounding this squad but it seems as though the team has a very good shot at making it back to the NCAA basketball wagering tournament once again, even without the great Olson. Some college basketball betting fans may forget that Arizona also made it to the NCAA basketball wagering tourney last year without Olson at the helm.

Led by Chase Budinger, a possible PAC-10 player of the year, the Cats look to be in the thick of contention when it comes to NCAA basketball gambling. He should average at least 20 points per NCAA basketball wagering contest and improve his NBA stock. Although the loss of super freshman Jerryd Bayless is a huge blow to the team’s NCAA basketball gambling tournament hopes, there are still plenty of talented players on the squad. Big man Jordan Hill had a breakout season last year and should be a double- man in this year’s NCAA basketball wagering season. Also, Nic Wise, the team’s leading assist man also returns and will direct the offense.

The one big factor that NCAA basketball gambling fans must consider is what impact the coaching situation will have on the team –not the fact hat Olson is no longer there, but the uncertainty as to who will replace him. The team will once again be led by a temporary coach this may have an affect on the teams success in the upcoming college basketball betting season.
