The 2012-13 NBA regular season gets under way tonight with a triple header. While the first game features Washington and Cleveland beginning at 7:00 PM ET, most eyes outside of DC and the shores of Lake Erie will be focused on the other two.

The NBA 2012 preseason ends this week and the games that count will begin on Tuesday, October 30th with three contests on tap. Two of those three will include the 2011 champ Miami Heat vs. Boston and the new look Lakers against the Dallas Mavs.

If you thought the men's version of Team USA basketball was good, you ain't seen nothing until you watch the lady's play. They will compete in their second 2012 Olympics game versus Angola beginning at 5:15 pm eastern time tonight.
