Monday NBA Betting – Denver Nuggets at Chicago Bulls

A very competitive game in NBA betting is on tap for Monday night as the Chicago Bulls host the Denver Nuggets.

The Bulls have been inconsistent this season but they are at home on Monday and could be worth an NBA bet at Sbg against the Nuggets.

Denver has started the season at 4-2 and they have won two straight.  This is a tough spot for the Nuggets though as they are playing their third game in four nights.  The Nuggets are 10th in the league in points per game and they are also 10th in the league in fewest points allowed.  The Nuggets still have Carmelo Anthony and he leads the team in scoring.  One of the teams mentioned as a possible destination for Anthony in a trade is Chicago so this game on Monday should have a little more intrigue to it.

Inconsistent Bulls
Chicago has been very inconsistent so far this season and a tough team for gamblers making an NBA bet to figure out. The Bulls lost their opening game then won two games and now they have lost two games. Chicago is still without one of their best players in Carlos Boozer and they have really missed him.  The Bulls have Derrick Rose but Boozer is expected to be the second scoring option for Chicago. He won’t return until later this month at the earliest so you have to be careful about betting Chicago.

Chicago’s Reserves are Struggling
The problem for Chicago is the second unit.  With Boozer being out the Bulls are simply not as deep.  In the last two games the Bulls have been destroyed when their reserves have come into the game. There are simply no good scoring options with the second unit.  C.J. Watson is simply not a very good option running the offense when Rose is on the bench. Chicago has only 13 players on their roster right now so they are hurting.

Big Week for the Bulls

This is a very important week for Chicago in NBA betting. They have three home games as they host Denver, Golden State and Washington. They really need to win all three because they have they call the circus trip coming up next week.  The circus will be in town in Chicago so the Bulls have to go on the road for a brutal seven-game trip with stops in Texas and then out west.
