The Magic have dominated the Hawks in this series, winning the first three games and covering the basketball betting point spread each time.
NBA betting numbers list the Magic as 5.5 point favorites on Monday in Atlanta with the total at 194. This series between the Magic and the Hawks has been one of the most lopsided in NBA history. The Magic won the first game by 43 points, the second game by 14 points and the third game by 30 points. The Hawks were booed off the court after Game 3. Atlanta guard Joe Johnson has been so bad in the series that the Hawks have had no chance to win. Johnson made just 3 of his 15 shots on Saturday and for the series he has made just 12 of 42 shots. "Embarrassing," Johnson said. "Guys look to me for guidance. When I'm playing like that, it's almost impossible for us to win."
Orlando is playing as well as they have all season. They look like the defending Eastern Conference champs. Cleveland and LeBron James got all of the press, but the Magic are playing like the best team in the league right now. "Our goal was to peak moving into the playoffs, and I think we've done that and now we're letting it all hang out." Orlando’ Vince Carter said. The Hawks were expected to play better at home but after getting blown out by 30 points, not many people are giving Atlanta much of a chance to get this series back to Orlando. "I wish I knew [what happened]," Atlanta coach Mike Woodson said, "It's very disappointing. After we played three wonderful quarters [Thursday in Orlando], I figured we would come home and really play at a high level, and make a series out of it. We were so flat."
