Blazers vs. Grizzlies Series Preview. With the 2014-15 NBA Season ended, it’s now time for the Playoffs and they started yesterday with the Washington at Toronto, New Orleans at Golden State, Milwaukee at Chicago and the Dallas at the Houston. Therefore we will preview an upcoming game that is to be played on Sunday the 19th of April 2015 and the games scheduled for Sunday are the Celtics at Cavaliers, Nets at Hawks, Portland Blazers at Memphis and the San Antonio at the L.A. Clippers.

Here we will preview the game 1 with the No. 4 seed Portland Trailblazers playing the No. 5 seed Memphis Grizzlies with the game being played at the FedEx Forum in Memphis, Tennessee and the tip-off is at 8:10 PM ET and seen on TNT TV.

The opening odds on this game have the Grizzlies of Memphis at -5 and the total is 188 ½ and -220 on the Money Line with the comeback on the Trailblazers of Portland at +5 and +180 on the Money Line.

This playoff is the best of 7 series, and who will come out on top between Memphis and Portland at this time seems to be somewhat of a mystery as which team will win this best of 7. The main concern is that both teams are suffering injuries as they prepare for this matchup. So it will be very interesting to see which team can make the necessary adjustments to make it through and win this 7 game playoff series.

This 7 Game Series starts with Game 1 on Sunday the 18th, the 2nd Game on Wednesday the 22nd, and the 3rd Game on Saturday the 25th, and the 4th Game on Monday the 27th, and the 5th Game on Wednesday the 29th, and the 6th Game on Friday the 1st of May and the final 7th Game on Sunday the 3rd of May. Game 1 & 2 are played at Memphis at 8 PM ET, Game 3 & 4 at Portland at 10:30 PM ET, Game 5 at Memphis time TBA, Game 6 at Portland time TBA and the final Game 7 at Memphis time TBA. Games 5, 6 & 7 are If necessary.

If you’re a Trail Blazers fan and Bet on NBA at SBG Global or other online sportsbooks, you know your Blazers did not end their season on a good note, as the lost their final game to the Mavericks of Dallas 114-98 this past Wednesday evening, and that was their 4th straight loss, and now are on the road to play the Grizzlies in this long and physical 7 game series if necessary.

The Blazers come into this series they are confronted with some serious injuries, and now have more injured players that healthy ones on their roster at this time. Acknowledging that factor, it seem the Portland team still have a chance in the series as they have an uninjured pair of stars in Lillard and Aldridge, with Lillard a top guard in the NBA and averaging some 6-3pointers a game, 4.7 rebounds and 21.2 points per game, while Aldridge average 10.4 rebounds and 23.5 point per game. Thanks to decision by Aldridge not to have hand surgery, he helped the Blazers with a chance to play the Grizzlies in the playoffs.

If you’re a Grizzlies fan, you need to know that it’s not only the Trailblazers who have injury problems, as Memphis has 2 questionable starters in Conley and Allen for game 1 on Sunday the 19th with Allen having been out for 9 consecutive games while Conley has missed 5 of their last games. That is a sizeable concern as the both are contributing factors for Memphis.

With those two absent from the lineup they will look to Randolph and Gasol to take up the slack of offense, as Randolph averages 16.2 points per game and Gasol averages 17.4 points per game. Thus you Grizzlies fans can watch as the big man Gasol to depend on him in this game and the series. The experts pick Memphis to win game 1 at 91-83 and to win the series in just 6 of the 7 games in the series.
