Let’s take a look at the Rookie Challenge which takes place next month in advance of the NBA All Star game. NBA All Star game fans will be watching the Rookie challenge because Chinese forward Yi Jianlian of the Milwaukee Bucks was among four international players chosen for the game.
Yi has averaged 9.8 points and 5.8 rebounds in 46 games for the Bucks this season after being selected fifth in last year's NBA Draft. Other NBA sophomores include Utah's Paul Millsap and Ron Brewer, Rudy Gay of Memphis, Portland's Brandon Roy and LaMarcus Aldridge, Boston's Rajon Rondo, Los Angeles Lakers guard Jordan Farmar and Cleveland's Daniel Gibson.
NBA All Star game betting odds will show the sophomores favored in the Rookie Challenge, especially with players like Brandon Roy and LaMarcus Aldridge in the lineup. Roy will actually be playing in two games as he also made the NBA All Star game roster as a reserve.
