MLB Odds Look at White Sox vs. Angels

April 1st, 2024 Betting on MLB Baseball

MLB odds fans will get another shot at online sports betting on the LA Angels and the Chicago White Sox on May 27. The two teams will square off in the MLB betting odds in a three-game series in LA. These are two of the premier teams in the AL baseball odds over the past few seasons and it should be a great baseball series.

Baseball odds makers have to like the Angels chances in this one. While it’s possible that the Sox may steal a game in this MLB betting odds series, the Angels awfully well at home and should take at least two of these baseball odds match ups in LA, including the final game on the 27th. The Sox simply play awful in match ups on the road and have a measly 7-14 record when not in Chicago.

The Sox are also six games below .500 and at present do not have the look of a team that is competing to hang around for the baseball odds post season. In contrast the Angels are not only hanging around, but are in a heated competition with the Rangers for an MLB betting odds division lead. The Angels also have the look of team that hasn’t quite reached its potential and could get a massive baseball odds hot streak at any moment. It’s also playing with a lot of motivation, something the Sox seem to be lacking in most baseball odds match ups.

The most impressive thing about the Angels this MLB odds season so far has been their bats. This is a team that can hurt from the 1-7 spot in the batting order, a rare commodity for baseball odds competition and there aren’t really any easy outs at the plate. The pitching, as usual, has been stellar for the Angels who are generally among one of the better pitching teams in the MLB betting odds.

LA doesn’t have a lot of weaknesses and that’s bad news for the Sox. Scott Buerhle has been very strong, but the starting pitching drops off a cliff after that. To make matters worse closer Bobby Jenks, normally one of the best in the MLB odds, has been good, but not spectacular. They will need him to be at his best. The Sox batters have also been disappointing in the MLB odds in 2009 and haven’t hit well on the road.

All in all this game looks like it’s the Angels to lose. Expect LA to win at this game and possibly sweep this series at home.
