Guerrero is entering his 13th season in the Major Leagues and he can still impact MLB betting results.
Baseball betting has the Texas Rangers at 20-1 to win the World Series this year. The Rangers are definitely are contender in the American League West. The Angels do not look as strong as they were a year ago while the Rangers could be improved with a motivated Vladimir Guerrero. "I feel good," said Guerrero, "I was sharing some time with my teammates. I know some of them, but it's time to get acquainted."
The Rangers are looking at using Guerrero as a DH and in right field this baseball betting season. "I came here to play," Guerrero said. "It's up to them if they want to use me as a DH or play the outfield. I have to work and prepare to play both places." The Rangers are hoping that Guerrero can play in as many as 150 games this season. He has not played in that many games since 2007. He played in 100 games last baseball betting year. He hit .295 with 15 homers and 50 RBIs.
One big key for the Rangers is that Guerrero just tears the cover off the ball at Rangers Ballpark. His career batting average is .394 at Rangers Ballpark as MLB betting stats have it. The Rangers are very excited to have Guerrero in the middle of their lineup. "He can do more damage than most," Texas manager Ron Washington said. "We just want him to be Vlad. He'll make an impact." Michael Young is thrilled to have Guerrero on the team. "I can't wait to get started with the guy," Young said. "I've had a chance to really play with some great hitters here in Texas. The list is long. This is another Hall of Fame guy I get to play with." Baseball betting stats indicate that Guerrero has 14 homers, 33 RBIs and a .705 slugging percentage at the Rangers Ballpark. He should definitely give opposing teams another hitter to worry about and that means cleanup hitter Josh Hamilton should have a better season. "But it's up to me to lay off the balls and be a more disciplined hitter so that having him hit behind me really helps me," Hamilton said. "He's a dangerous hitter and we're glad we have him."
