"I had to battle pretty much without having any stuff," he said about Opening Day, “I felt like nothing was there." The Marlins will now push Annibal Sanchez to Sunday for his first start. "I am feeling good," Sanchez said. "The most important thing is I’m healthy."
The Dodgers are bringing back Opening Day starter Vincente Padilla on Saturday. Padilla was terrible on Opening Day as he allowed seven runs in 4 1/3 innings. Those betting Major League Baseball will notice that Padilla did not pitch against the Marlins last year. The Dodgers will be going with fifth starter Charlie Haeger in the sixth game of the season on Sunday vs. the Marlins. Los Angeles manager Joe Torre is expecting a lot more out of Padilla on Saturday. "I want to get him out there as soon as possible," Torre said, "No, I didn’t like what I saw. I know there’s something more there."
Before this series began in MLB props and futures, the Marlins had won six of the last ten against the Dodgers. The teams split their six games last year but the road team won four of those six meetings. Four of those six also went over the total for those betting Major League Baseball.
