Ruffian Handicap on Saturday Online Horse Betting

Online horse betting fans look forward to Saturday as it includes the Grade 1 $300,000 Ruffian Handicap from Belmont Park.

This horse racing betting race is a big one since the winner gets an automatic entry into the Breeders’ Cup Ladies Classic on November 6th.

Online horse betting is likely to favor Seventh Street. The horse had wins in the Apple Blossom and Go for Wand and finished second to Seattle Smooth in the Ogden Phipps Handicap. Seventh Street won’t have to worry about Seattle Smooth in online horse betting since that horse won’t run again until after the Breeders’ Cup. Seventh Street is likely to be giving up to 10 pounds to the other horses in this horse racing betting race. Seventh Street has been no worse than third in eight lifetime starts. She will carry high weight of 122 pounds with Rajiv Maragh in the irons.

Five other contenders in online horse betting for this race include Delaware Handicap winner Swift Temper and Molly Pitcher Stakes winner Luna Vega. Seventh Street has already beaten Luna Vega in the Go for Wand on a sloppy track. This one could be closer in online horse betting since Luna Vega has won two of four starts at this distance. Swift Temper has three 100-plus Beyers this year including an online horse betting win over Icon Project.

Another online horse betting contender is Be Fair who was fourth in the Kentucky Oaks and won the Lake George Stakes. The horse did not do well in the Alabama Stakes last month but could bounce back here in online horse betting. The horse has the low weight in the field at 112 pounds. Also keep in mind that horses beaten by Rachel Alexandra have come back strongly in online horse betting.

Also in the online horse betting field is Skylighter who is making her second start for trainer H. Graham Motion. Exotic Indy rounds out the online horse betting field.

The Ruffian will be run as the fourth race on the Belmont horse racing betting card on Saturday. The horse racing betting field for the Ruffian has Swift Temper as the rail with Alan Garcia in the irons. Be Fair is starting from post position #2 with Garret Gomez. Exotic Indy is starting from the third post while Seventh Street is in post four, Luna Vega in post five and Skylighter on the outside.
