The main sponsor of the tournament is Fry’s Electronics. Those fans that are betting golf may be aware that last year the prize purse was $4 million with $720,000 going to the winner. Many fans that look at golf odds know that the tournament was founded in 1983. It used to be played over five rounds over many courses but that changed in 2003.
