Cink revels in Travelers Golf Betting win at SBG Global

November 30th, 2010 Golf Betting

Stewart Cink has been close in many tournaments, but his golf betting victory at the Travelers Championship had to be sweet relief for one of online golf betting’s best known runner-ups.

Seemingly always coming close to getting the golf betting win, it was nice for fans to see one of golf betting’s best claim the top prize.  Sink outlasted a talented golf betting field to notch his first win of the online golf betting season.

It’s been four long years since Cink last hoisted a golf betting tournament trophy and it would be almost impossible for an online golf betting fan to fathom the relief that the win must have brought him. But he deserves every bit of the golf betting victory as he played well and did just enough to hang onto the one-stroke win.

With just one victory in the previous nine online golf betting tournaments that he has led the odds certainly weren’t in his favor. Many golf betting fans most likely wrote the golfers off as his reputation as choke artists are well known throughout online golf betting. But with the win at the TPC River Highlands course, he has silenced his critics and jumped into third place in the golf betting FedEx Cup points race.

But this course has always been good to Cink as he notched his first career golf betting win here as a PGA Tour rookie. The win is the fifth of his career and hopefully not his last as he remains a very popular figure in golf betting.  He entered the day with a two-stroke lead and with many golf betting fans doubting that he could actually hang on to the lead he did exactly that, winning the golf betting by one stroke. Cink was the model of consistency as he played in the 60s during all four golf betting rounds, ending up Sunday with a three under 67.

He held off defending champ Hunter Mahan and a late charge by Tommy Armour to lay claim to the title. Cink has been playing well all golf betting season up to this point and with his jump up the FedEx Cup standings he could be one of the golf betting favorites now that Tiger Woods is out of the golf betting competition.
