Houston vs. NY – MLS Preview on Soccer Betting

Soccer betting odds fans will see how Houston Dynamo enters tonight’s soccer betting match up against the New York Red Bulls with a tremendous head of momentum behind it.

After going through the entire month of June without losing in the soccer betting odds, the defending MLS soccer betting champ looks as if it’s finally hitting its stride after a turbulent start at the beginning of the year, and all this with several key players still missing from its squad for international duties.

New York on the other hand it has almost exactly mirrored Houston’s trajectory in the opposite direction.  The earlier soccer betting season leader in the Eastern Division has gotten into a rut and been slumping over the last few soccer betting games.  It will be looking for any king of spark or momentum as it heads to Houston to take on the mighty Dynamo.

The Red Bulls will certainly have their work cut for them.  Dynamo is the hottest team in the MLS soccer betting right now and perhaps the best squad out there until the LA Galaxy gets their squad of international superstars all on the roster.  The finished June with a 5-0-1 record in the soccer betting odds and are on a soccer betting season high seven-game undefeated streak.  The team will be improved over its last outing as starting goalkeeper Pat Onstad will be back in goal.  It will also likely be playing with its newest acquisition, 6’3 Nate Jaqua who should be a nice addition and strong threat for Houston in set pieces inside the box.  The Houston defense has been like a rat trap this soccer betting year snapping any balls that get near the goal.  The team has held opponents to over 300 minutes of scoreless soccer and the offense has been rolling, outscoring opponents 11-3, over the past six soccer betting games.

New York has been on the skids of late going winless in its last three soccer betting games.  There are a few reasons to believe that the Red Bulls might be able to change their fortune for the next soccer betting games; one of them being the fact that the Red Bulls have already beaten Dynamo once this year 1-0 in New York.  Also, soccer betting odds experts know that the team will be bolstered on defense with the inclusion of new defender Kevin Goldthwaite and the return of injured Hunter Freeman.  However, this unit has yet to really gel and with Dynamo’s offense on fire right now, expect Dynamo to win this soccer betting game at home.
