Ladies’ Classic Bet on Breeders Cup
There are a number of contenders to consider when making a Breeders Cup bet, especially if Zenyatta goes in the BC Classic on Saturday as expected.
Bet on Breeders Cup for the Ladies’ Classic includes Careless Jewel, who has won each of her last five starts. She galloped a mile and a half at Santa Anita on Monday with regular exercise rider Moises Guce. “She's doing beautiful," Guce said. "She went nice and easy." Robert Landry is the regular jockey and he gets the mount on Friday. The horse worked a bullet last week at Santa Anita.
Another horse to consider as you bet on Breeders Cup action is Cocoa Beach who was the runner up in this race a year ago for those making a Breeders Cup bet. Her last drill was 5 furlongs in 59 2/5. Cocoa Beach was third in the Lady’s Secret Handicap last month, finishing 1½ lengths behind the Zenyatta.
Lethal Heat had a bullet work on Sunday for trainer Barry Abrams and could be a horse to watch as you make a Breeders Cup bet. Those that bet on Breeders Cup could be looking at this horse. Octavio Vergara has been working the horse but Alex Solis is expected to get the mount in bet on Breeders Cup racing on Friday.
Life Is Sweet had a nice work for trainer John Shirreffs as she prepares for bet on Breeders Cup action. She is the stablemate of Zenyatta but is still a quality filly. She won three straight graded stakes at Santa Anita last winter. Garrett Gomez gets the mount in this bet on Breeders Cup race.
Mushka will be ridden by Kent Desormeaux and could be a popular Breeders Cup bet.
Music Note is an A.P. Indy filly that is working well for this bet on Breeders Cup race. She had wins in the Beldame Stakes at Belmont and the Ballerina at Saratoga. She ran third last year in bet on Breeders Cup results last year in the Ladies’ Classic behind Zenyatta.
Proviso will be making her first start for trainer Bobby Frankel in this bet on Breeders Cup race. John Velazquez gets the mount. Rainbow View will be a longshot to consider in bet on Breeders Cup odds. The horse was second as the favorite in the E. P. Taylor at Woodbine last month.
