Breeders Cup Odds Will Favor Zenyatta

Breeders Cup odds are likely to favor Zenyatta in either the Breeders Cup Classic or the Ladies’ Classic.

The horse is pre-entered in both races but seems more likely for the Breeders Cup Classic which is the highlight in Breeders Cup betting.

Breeders Cup odds would have the filly Zenyatta favored over the males. It would be the first time in her career that she will have faced the males. Santa Anita oddsmaker Jon White said that he would make her the morning line favorite in Breeders Cup odds even against Rip Van Winkle. There is no question that the two horses that will get the most play for the Breeders Cup odds Classic are Zenyatta and Rip Van Winkle but the filly will be favored.

Zenyatta would be an overwhelming favorite in Breeders Cup odds in the Ladies’ Classic. She will be a slight Breeders Cup betting favorite in the Classic. Rip Van Winkle will probably be the second choice. He has only been favored in two of his eight career starts.

It is likely that Zenyatta will be 5-2 followed by Rip Van Winkle at 7-2. Summer Bird is the likely third Breeders Cup odds choice at about 9-2. It is expected that Kentucky Derby winner Mine That Bird will have Breeders Cup odds of at least 10-1. The Breeders Cup Classic is the final race of the 14 Breeders Cup races.
