Saturday’s Breeders Cup Betting Odds and Picks

The feature day in Breeders Cup betting is Saturday with eight races on the card. Let’s look at each race and the bets to consider at Sbg global in Breeders Cup Odds.

Juvenile Turf
Utley 6-1 – This race could be one by any number of horses so we’ll look for a bit of a price.
Master Of Hounds 9-2 – Will likely go off as the favorite but no guarantee to win this race.
Mantoba 5-1 – Could easily steal the race.

Dirt Mile
Here Comes Ben – Capable of winning this wide open race.
Gayego – Has the class to win this and might finally show up.
Crown of Thorns – The likely favorite but will probably be over- bet.

Turf Sprint
Rose Catherine – We’ll try and get a decent price with Pletcher’s horse.
Due Date – It would be just like Gomez to win on a long shot.
Silver Timber – Should be the favorite in a wide open race.

Uncle Mo – The best bet on the card for Saturday. This is the horse to watch on Saturday in addition to Zenyatta.  The horse will go off as a heavy favorite.
Stay Thirsty – Stablemate of Uncle Mo might get second.
Boys at Tosconova – Will be over-bet.

Goldikova – Bad post but she is the best horse not named Zenyatta.  She will be heavily favored in the Mile.
Paco Boy – Can’t seem to beat Goldikova. Why will that change on Saturday?
Gio Ponti – Capable of shocking the big two.

Atta Boy Roy – Taking a shot with Borel at double-digit odds.
Big Drama – Should be the favorite in Breeders Cup betting in this race.
Smiling Tiger – Maybe Russell the Muscle gets his first BC win.

Workforce – If he runs he is the favorite.
Dangerous Midge – Getting some insider support and could win at a price.
Behkabad – Would be the favorite if Workforce doesn’t run.

Zenyatta – If she runs her race then she wins. She is that good.  She is the story of this year’s Breeders Cup.  It would be great to see her win but this is a good field.
Haynesfield – Capable of winning this race at double-digit odds.
Quality Road – The inside post is the only concern. Has the class to win this race if he runs well.
