Baffert’s Horses Looking Good Breeders Cup Wagering

November 30th, 2010 Breeders Cup Betting

Breeders Cup wagering is almost always popular on Bob Baffert horses and that should be the case again next month in the Breeders Cup.

Four of his contenders were seen recently in workouts as they get ready for Breeders Cup betting.

Breeders Cup wagering at the online sportsbook has Zensational favored in the Breeders Cup Sprint and the horse looked great in a recent workout. He blazed five furlongs in a bullet of 57 and 4/5 seconds and that was the fastest of 18 drills at the distance. "Zensational worked nice," Baffert said. "That work the other day (six furlongs in company from the gate in 1:10 3/4 last Thursday) really caught him back up to speed. He hasn’t lost his form." Those looking at Breeders Cup betting for the Sprint will definitely want to consider Zensational.

Another of his horses that is looking great for Breeders Cup wagering at the sportsbook is the undefeated Lookin at Lucky who was the winner of the Norfolk Stakes. He worked six furlongs with Always a Princess. Lookin at Lucky worked a bullet in 1:11 4/5, while Always a Princess had a 1:12 3/5. Lookin at Lucky is the probable favorite in Breeders Cup wagering for the Juvenile on Saturday, November 7th. Always a Princess is a real Breeders Cup wagering threat for the Juvenile Fillies on Friday, November 6th. "They’re good work mates," Baffert said, "They’re both the same quality, so they stay together."

In other Breeders Cup wagering notes it was Richard’s Kid putting in a bullet work, going a half mile in 46 seconds. The horse is getting ready for Breeders Cup wagering and the Breeders’ Cup Classic on Saturday, November 7th. A horse getting ready for the Ladies’ Classic in Breeders Cup wagering at the online sportsbook for Friday is Music Note who went five-eighths in 1:01 2/5. "She worked terrific," said jockey Richard Migliore, "She finished up really well." The horse has won her last two and could be a Breeders Cup wagering threat in the race, especially if Zenyatta is pointed toward the BC Classic instead of the Ladies’ Classic.

Since the Marathon was moved to Friday, there are now six races in Breeders Cup wagering for Friday at the sportsbook and eight for Saturday. The Saturday card in Breeders Cup wagering is highlighted by the $5 Million dollar Breeders Cup Classic.
