NASCAR Odds for California Speedway at SBG Global Sports Betting

NASCAR Odds for the Auto Club 500 at California Speedway give gamblers a good chance to see how good the drivers are this year.

The Auto Club 500 usually comes down to pit strategy and fuel mileage, so betting NASCAR action during this race can be tricky. NASCAR odds usually have the top drivers like Jimmy Johnson and Jeff Gordon favored on the California Speedway.

The track is a fast and wide two mile "D" oval with 14 degrees of banking in the turns and 11 degrees in the front.  There are normally very few cautions.  NASCAR odds are interesting for this race since the Roush cars have done well.  Matt Kenseth has taken the last two races for gamblers that have been betting NASCAR.

Engines are a major concern in NASCAR odds for this race.  A couple of years ago Tony Stewart and Greg Biffle both blew engines after leading.  Last year there were only 17 cars that finished on the lead lap as many gamblers that were betting NASCAR were disappointed. Last year Matt Kenseth won both Series races at the California Speedway as he won the Auto Club 500 in NASCAR odds and also won the Busch Series (now Nationwide) on Saturday. Three-time California Speedway winner Jeff Gordon was also in the hunt as one of the NASCAR odds favorite but he could not get past Kenseth.  There were other favorites in NASCAR odds like Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Kasey Kahne that had engine problems.

Betting NASCAR action for this year’s Auto Club 500 will get underway on Sunday, February 24th.  The likely favorites in NASCAR odds are Jimmy Johnson, Jeff Gordon and two-time defending champion Matt Kenseth. Other possible contenders in NASCAR odds are Kasey Kahne and other finishers from the Top 10 last year that include Jeff Burton, Mark Martin, Clint Bowyer and the Busch brothers.  Another driver to consider every week in NASCAR odds especially since he is with Hendrick now is Dale Earnhardt Jr.  He should be in contention on the NASCAR odds board every single week.

Enjoy the great NASCAR action at the California Speedway for the Auto Club 500 on Sunday, February 24th and the Nationwide race the previous day.
