F1 Betting Odds – Turkish Grand Prix at SBG Global

F1 betting odds on the seventh race of the 2009 Formula One season will be on the board for the Turkish Grand Prix scheduled for June 7th, 2009 at Istanbul Racing Circuit in Istanbul, Turkey.

Last year it was Felipe Massa winning this event in F1 odds but he won’t be favored to repeat. F1 betting odds are not favoring Massa since he is having a poor season. In fact, the F1 odds have been turned upside down this season with Jenson Button leading the way from the Brawn GP team.

His teammate Rubens Barrichello is also having a good season in F1 betting odds. It was expected that Lewis Hamilton and the McLaren-Mercedes team would dominate F1 betting odds again this year but that has not been the case. The Red Bull-Renault and Toyota teams have been better than McLaren-Mercedes. Sebastian Vettel has had some early season success as has teammate Mark Webber and Toyota teammates Jarno Trulli and Timo Glock. Hamilton and his teammate Heikki Kovalainen are off to slow starts in F1 odds.

This year’s Turkish Grand Prix gets underway on Sunday, June 7th and F1 betting odds will be on the board. Unlike last season when Massa dominated at Istanbul Park in F1 betting odds, it should be more wide open this year.

One of the drivers that are doing well this season in F1 betting odds that had a little success at this track last year is Mark Webber. He was seventh in F1 odds in the Turkish Grand Prix a year ago. Last year button finished 11th but he will be one of the favorites in F1 betting odds this time around.

The question for gamblers in F1 betting odds is will the success of Brawn GP continue all year or will McLaren-Mercedes and Renault get things figured out before it is too late. Button has looked dominant this season in F1 betting odds so it will be interesting to see how he does at the Turkish Grand Prix. This race could also be a chance for Massa to get his poor season turned around. Massa has owned this track in the past and needs a big performance this week to get things going.
