13 teams will be on the F1 odds board with a number of top drivers including defending champion Jenson Button and F1 legend Michael Schumacher.
F1 betting has seen testing by many of the teams with Ferrari looking strong with Felipe Massa and Fernando Alonso. Michael Schumacher has also looked good in testing for Mercedes GP. All of the drivers are set for each of the 13 teams except for two spots, one on USF1 and one on Campos. Even though 13 teams are on the board now in F1 betting, Formula 1 head man Bernie Eclestone has said that he is unsure about USF1 and Campos. He would like to have Stefan GP on standby in case one of those two teams is not ready to go. Stefan GP is a Serbian team owned by Zoran Stefanovic. They have said they are ready to step in should the need arise. They already have a car ready for the opening F1 betting race. Ralf Schumacher, brother of Michael Schumacher has said he will drive for the team.
Here is a look at the 13 teams for the 2010 F1 betting season. Mercedes GP has Michael Schumacher and Nico Rosberg. Schumacher is the headliner here simply because he is an F1 legend. Red Bull has Sebastian Vettel and Mark Webber. Both drivers are capable of winning races this season. McLaren has the last two champs in F1 betting, Jenson Button and Lewis Hamilton. How well Button and Hamilton can work together remains to be seen as both have huge egos after winning the championship each of the last two years. Ferrari has Massa and Alonso who are both popular in F1 odds. Williams has Rubens Barrichello and Nico Hulkenberg. Force Indian will have Adrian Sutil and Vitantonio Liuzzi in F1 odds. Renault will have Robert Kubica and Vitaly Petrov as their drivers. Toro Rosso will be using Sebastien Buemi and Jaime Alguersuari. Sauber has Kamui Kobayashi and Pedro de la Rosa on the F1 odds board.
The new teams in F1 betting this year will be Virgin Racing who has Timo Glock and Lucas di Grassi, Lotus F1 who has Jarno Trulli and Heikki Kovalainen, Campos who has Brunno Senna and an open spot and USF1 with Jose Maria Lopez and an open spot.
